Beginning in 1996... The House of Orient begin to establish itself as a
staple in downtown Bellingham. With a reputation for good food and
friendly, family service the House of Orient continues to thrive. The
location is different, but the food and service remain the same after
all these years.
Now located just a few blocks up on Holly from it's original home, the
elegant new restaurant has proven to continue it's standard of
excellence in the areas that has made it famous.
The House of Orient has been featured in the Bellingham Herald. Come in to visit us and we're sure you'll agree that
we are the Best Asian Takeout in Belilngham.
Now located next to the Horseshoe cafe, The House of Orient has been
voted "Best Thai in Bellingham" for three years running by the
Bellingham Weekly.

OVERRATED
I cannot figure out why this place is so well liked. The food is overpriced, dissapointing and it's not all Thai food! It's more like a variety of Asian fare and it's all pretty greasy too. Maybe people just like it because of the location. Total waste of money.
